Gas on Steel Cooktops
With five burners, including simmer, rapid and up to a 20,000BTU wok burner, the gas on steel cooktop provides great cooking flexibility. Coupling the attractiveness of sleek stainless steel with the durability of cast iron trivets; the Gas on Steel supports the most avid chef.
Traditionally we cook by generating heat from one source, such as a flame, and conducting it to another. The Fisher & Paykel Induction Cooktops work on a different principle. The cooktop itself produces electromagnetic vibrations, which induce the pot or pan to generate its own heat. The results are shorter heat-up times, greater precision and a safer cooking surface.
