Dcs cs364gdssn This 36" Series from DCS is available with 3 burner configurations: 4 burners with a center griddle (this model), 6 burners (CS366), or 4 burners with a center grill (CS364GL).
It boasts 4 Sealed Dual Flow Burners, with each burner capable of delivering 17,500 BTUs. The top of the range is completely sealed for easy cleanup. DCS builds all of its Ranges with Platform stlye stovetop grates which make it easy to slide cookware from one burner to another without lifting. This means easier and safer cooking. This model in the 36" Professional Rangetop Series also features a Center Griddle with a Fully Extendable Drip Tray for easy cleaning. It also has a Grease Management System which greatly reduces the chance of cooking fires.
These Ranges also offer consistently lower Simmer Temperatures. Turn other residential burners down to simmer and the flame looks much the same as before, only smaller. This is not so with a DCS Range. The primary flame on our sealed Dual Flow Burners shuts off automatically when you turn it to simmer, leaving a smaller "retention flame" burning. This allows you to maintain a constant simmer temperature as low as 140 degrees, for an efficient and safe simmer. This means no more scalding delicate sauces.
The photograph at the top of this page does not show the actual CS364GD grate configuration, which has a Griddle at the center of the range. To get a clearer understanding of the grate configuration on this model, please note the Grate Configuration drawing directly above this description. This is how the top of the CS364GD will look.
