The extra size and blower capacity of the BHPSLD model can be used above professional-style cooking equipment. Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish (painted or stainless steel). All liners in this series are 22 1/2" deep. Recommended mounting height is 27" - 30" above the cooking surface. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations (outdoor applications such as a covered patio) when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.
The patented Magic Lung blower system sets Vent-A-Hood’s kitchen ventilation systems apart from all other range hoods and range canopies. The Magic Lung has become an industry standard in range hood blower technology and stands up against the rest.
Turn on a Vent-A-Hood and you’ll hear only a whisper of air movement, because the Magic Lung system provides the quietest kitchen ventilation available.
The powerful Magic Lung blower traps all cooking contaminants, liquefies grease vapor and removes heat-polluted air. The Magic Lung® blower combines sufficient air pressure and constant speed with centrifugal filtration. Because it doesn’t pull air through a filter it is the most efficient kitchen ventilation available today.
The Magic Lung housing snaps apart for easy cleaning in the dishwasher or with warm, soapy water. Moreover, the Magic Lung® is the only ventilation system that collects the grease in an easily cleaned housing rather than in hard-to-reach areas behind a mesh or baffle filter.
The Magic Lung is the only residential kitchen ventilation system on the market today that prevents fire from spreading to the rest of the home. Constant speed creates centrifugal pressure that prevents fire from entering the ductwork. As needed, SensaSource increases blower speed to its normal level to maintain this safety feature.
Magic Lung blowers can be configured to provide the power you need for even the most demanding residential cooking surfaces. Each highly efficient Magic Lung blower supplies 300 CFM of air movement. Multiple blowers can be combined in a single Vent-A-Hood to create the perfect kitchen ventilation for your cooking surface.
Vent-a-hood Performance Guarantee
If a Vent-A-Hood Premier Magic Lung range hood, properly specified and installed, fails to perform to the satisfaction of the end-user within 90 days of installation, Vent-A-Hood will refund the purchase price for the range hood. Subject to the following limitations: Commerical or other misapplications and Items fabricated to customer design. ** Vent-A-Hood® shall have the sole discretion of determining whether or no the range hood is "properly specified and installed." Due to the wide variability of climate conditions associated with the installation of outdoor cooking equipment, the Vent-A-Hood Performance Guarantee is not applicable.
Magic Lung Blower
The patented Magic Lung blower system sets Vent-A-Hood apart. You shouldn’t settle for anything less than the Magic Lung because it is quiet, efficient, easy-cleaning, fire-safe and powerful.
100% Fire Safe
Cooking fires are the leading cause of home fires. Filters are flammable and can sustain a secondary fire near the inlet to the blower leading to a duct fire. Magic Lung constant-speed blower is designed to keep grease and flame from entering the duct.
