Bought this to replace a 25 year old unit. The new one is quiet and the temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator seem even and just right. The ice maker kit purchased at the time I picked up the new refrigerator was not right for this unit. Bought one on-line that was the correct one. The correct kit had the solenoid valve and hardware for the back of the refrigerator as well as the ice maker itself. All working fine right now. Very pleased with it.

Bought my Amana bottom freezer 17yrs ago. Can't remember a problem. Now, I have to replace. Would rather replace "workings" than the refrigerator. Still looks like new!
