Bertazzoni Panel Ready Refrigerators at Plesser's Appliances
Bertazzoni panel-ready refrigerators, available at Plesser's Appliances, accept custom door panels fabricated to match your cabinetry, so the refrigeration disappears into the millwork entirely. Built by a family making kitchen appliances in Emilia-Romagna since 1882, panel-ready configurations are offered across the built-in lineup including columns, French door, and bottom-freezer models.
Refrigeration That Reads as Cabinetry
Panel-ready is the route to a kitchen where the refrigerator is not visible as an appliance at all. Your millworker fabricates door panels in the same material and finish as the surrounding cabinetry, and the unit takes them. In a kitchen designed around continuous cabinetry, this is the only configuration that fully delivers on it.
Panel Specification Comes First
Panels must be built to Bertazzoni's specification for dimension, thickness, and weight, and the handle is typically supplied by the cabinetmaker as part of the panel. This is the most common source of trouble on a panel-ready job: panels get fabricated before the specification is in hand and do not fit or exceed the weight the hinges are rated for. Get the specification to your millworker early.
Configurations Available Panel-Ready
Panel-ready is offered across full-height refrigeration and freezer columns, wine columns, French door, and bottom-freezer configurations, so an entire run can be integrated rather than one unit. Availability varies by model and width — confirm which of your intended units can actually take panels before the cabinetry plan is finalized.
Performance Is Unchanged
Panel-ready units carry the same refrigeration engineering as their stainless counterparts: electronic temperature control, humidity-controlled crisper drawers, full-extension shelving, and LED lighting. The panel affects only the exterior. Confirm the zone configuration and interior features for your model.
Openings, Weight, and Installation Planning
Panel-ready installation requires a framed opening sized precisely to the model, structural support accounting for both the unit and the finished panels, a dedicated circuit, and a water line for ice and dispensing. Panel weight affects door swing and hinge performance, so it is not a detail to leave to the field. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about panel specifications, cutout dimensions, and rough-in well before cabinetry is fabricated.
