The Big Chill 30" Retro Induction Cooktop, available at Plesser's Appliances, drops into a countertop cutout and brings the brand's vintage styling and color program to a surface-only installation — pairing naturally with a Big Chill wall oven placed at working height elsewhere in the kitchen.

Cooktop Plus Wall Oven Instead of a Range
Separating the cooking surface from the oven lets the oven go into a wall or island at chest height, so a loaded roasting pan comes out without bending over a hot door at knee level. It also frees the space below the cooktop for drawers. Paired with Big Chill's 30" electric wall oven in matching color and trim, the two read as one specified installation.

Induction Performance
The glass ceramic surface heats only the cookware, not the surface, so spills do not bake on and the top stays cool to the touch. Heating zones adjust automatically to the size of the pan placed on them, with nine heat levels for control from melting chocolate to searing. A power boost function brings water to a boil quickly.

Safety Features
Pan detection prevents a zone from heating with nothing on it, and a knob lock disables the controls electronically — useful with small children in the house. Because the surface itself does not get hot, a cooktop in an island is meaningfully safer than an open flame in the same location.

Colors, Trims, and Knobs
The cooktop carries the Big Chill finish program, with color trim options and knobs that can be specified to match adjacent Big Chill units.
