Big Chill Wall Ovens at Plesser's Appliances
The Big Chill 30" electric wall oven, available at Plesser's Appliances, brings vintage styling and the brand's full color program to an oven installed at working height. Offered in Retro and Classic styling, it can go into a wall, into an island, or be stacked vertically with a second unit.
Working Height Instead of Floor Level
A wall oven puts the cavity at chest height, so a loaded roasting pan comes out without bending over a hot door at knee level. It also separates the oven from the cooking surface, freeing the cooktop to go into an island or a countertop run. For anyone with back or mobility considerations, this is a functional decision as much as a design one.
Large Capacity in a 30" Cavity
Big Chill designed the cavity for capacity, so it accommodates full-sized pans rather than forcing you to work around a shallow box. Precise temperature control and even heat distribution handle the cooking side. Confirm cubic-foot capacity and rack configuration against the current spec sheet.
Wall, Island, or Stacked Installation
The oven is flexible about where it goes — a conventional wall opening, an island base, or two stacked vertically for double capacity. Stacking is the route to a double oven in this lineup, and it requires the openings to be dimensioned together as one elevation. Settle the configuration before cabinetry is designed.
Colors, Trims, and Coordination
The wall oven carries the Big Chill color and trim program, so it can match a Big Chill cooktop, range, hood, or refrigerator in the same room. Paired with the 30" retro induction cooktop, an oven and cooktop combination gives you the full Big Chill look without a freestanding range. Coordinate trim and knob color across every unit.
Opening, Electrical, and Lead Time
Installation requires a framed opening sized precisely to the model, structural support for the unit's weight, and appropriate electrical service — confirm voltage and amperage, particularly for a stacked pair. Custom colors are built to order, so factor lead time into the construction schedule. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about cutout dimensions, stacking, electrical requirements, color and trim, and current lead times before cabinetry is built.
