Café Built in Refrigerators at Plesser's Appliances
Café built-in refrigerators, available at Plesser's Appliances, are designed to sit flush within cabinetry and finish a kitchen as part of the millwork rather than projecting into the room.
Flush Cabinetry Installation
Built-in units are dimensioned for a framed opening with finished panels and counter surrounding them, so the refrigerator sits in the cabinetry line rather than stepping forward. Confirm cutout dimensions and required clearance before framing.
Configurations Available Built-In
Built-in refrigeration is offered in French door and full-height column configurations. Columns dedicate a whole cabinet to refrigeration or freezing and pair as a matched run. The configuration should follow the cabinetry plan, so decide before millwork is designed.
Finish, Hardware, or Panel-Ready
A built-in Café can be specified in a finish with interchangeable hardware matched to the range and hood, or panel-ready so it disappears into the cabinetry. These are opposite design decisions — the refrigeration seen or hidden — and should be settled during cabinetry design.
Temperature and Interior
Electronic controls hold temperature closely with humidity-controlled crisper drawers and adjustable full-extension shelving. In a built-in installation where airflow around the cabinet is restricted, stable control matters more than in a freestanding unit.
Openings, Water, and Installation Planning
Built-in installation requires a framed opening sized precisely to the model, structural considerations for the unit's weight, a dedicated circuit, and a water line for ice and dispensing.
