Café Gas Cooktops at Plesser's Appliances

Café gas cooktops, available at Plesser's Appliances, drop into a countertop cutout with cabinetry or drawers below, bringing open-flame control and Café's customizable knob finishes to a surface-only installation.

Power Burner and Simmer Control
A high-output power burner handles searing and fast boiling, with a dedicated simmer burner holding genuinely low heat for sauces and long reductions. Sealed construction keeps spills on the cooktop surface rather than letting them drop into a burner box below. Confirm burner count and output for your width.

Continuous Cast Iron Grates
Heavy cast iron grates take daily use without warping and lift out for cleaning, with continuous designs letting cookware slide across the full surface rather than lifting between burners. Grate design affects how the cooktop works with large pans more than burner count does.

Cabinetry Freedom Below
Because a cooktop is shallow relative to a rangetop, usable drawers or cabinet space stay available directly beneath it, a meaningful gain in a smaller kitchen. It also separates the cooking surface from the oven, so the oven can go into a wall stack at a comfortable height rather than at floor level.

Customizable Knobs
Café's interchangeable knobs in brushed stainless, black, bronze, and copper sit at the front of the countertop where they are the most visible hardware in the kitchen after the refrigerator handles. Coordinate knob finish with the hood, wall oven, and refrigeration at order.

Cutout, Clearance, and Ventilation Planning
Cutout dimensions, countertop overhang, clearance to combustibles, and cabinet depth below vary by model and are not interchangeable between widths. Natural gas and LP configurations differ. Ventilation should be sized to total burner output. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about cutout specs, gas supply, and hood sizing before the countertop is templated.
