GE Microwave + Oven Combos at Plesser's Appliances
GE microwave and oven combination units, available at Plesser's Appliances, put a full wall oven and a microwave or Advantium speed oven in a single cabinet column, factory-built as one appliance.
Both Appliances, One Opening
A combination unit delivers a full-size oven plus a microwave in the vertical space a double oven would occupy, which is the case for it in a kitchen that cannot give up two separate openings. It also gets the microwave off the counter and out from above the range.
Full Oven Below
The lower cavity is a genuine full-size oven with convection and No Preheat Air Fry on select models — not a reduced-capacity compromise. Confirm oven capacity and convection type for your model.
Microwave or Advantium Above
The upper cavity is either a microwave with sensor cooking or, on select GE Profile models, an Advantium speed oven that uses halogen light and convection alongside microwave energy to cook fast while still browning. Advantium effectively makes the unit two real ovens. Confirm which your model includes.
Factory-Built vs. Stacking Separates
A factory combination unit is one appliance in one opening with a single installation. Stacking a separate oven and built-in microwave gives more model choice and lets you replace one independently, but requires more height and correct trim kits.
Opening, Support, and Electrical Planning
Combination units are tall and heavy, requiring a framed opening sized precisely to the model, structural support rated for the load, and 240V service. Cutout dimensions are not interchangeable with a double oven of the same width. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about configuration, cutout dimensions, and electrical before cabinetry is built.
