GE Speed Ovens at Plesser's Appliances

GE speed ovens, available at Plesser's Appliances, use Advantium technology to combine halogen light, convection, and microwave energy in one built-in unit — cooking substantially faster than a conventional oven while still browning and crisping.

Advantium Speedcook Technology
Advantium uses halogen lamps for radiant browning, a convection element for even heat, and microwave energy for speed, combined in programmed sequences. The result is oven-quality food in a fraction of the time — a genuinely different cooking method rather than a microwave with a fan added.

Second Oven in a Short Opening
For a smaller kitchen, a butler's pantry, or a second prep zone, a speed oven delivers much of what a second wall oven does in less vertical space. Paired above a full wall oven, it handles fast tasks so the main oven stays free. Check cavity capacity against how you cook.

Programmed Recipes and Modes
Speedcook programs set the light, convection, and microwave balance automatically for specific foods, alongside conventional convection baking and standard microwave operation. Confirm the program set for your model.

Over-the-Range and Built-In
Advantium is offered in built-in configurations for a cabinet column and in over-the-range configurations that also provide ventilation. The over-the-range version carries the same ventilation trade-off as any combination unit. Confirm which configuration fits your layout.

Opening, Trim, and Electrical Planning
Built-in installation requires a framed opening sized precisely to the model, clearance for air circulation, a dedicated circuit, and in many cases a model-specific trim kit. Confirm voltage, which varies by model. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about configuration, cutout dimensions, trim, and electrical rough-in.
