LG Wall Air Conditioners

LG Wall Air Conditioners at Plesser's Appliances

LG wall air conditioners, available at Plesser's Appliances, install permanently through an exterior wall rather than in a window, freeing the window entirely and delivering a finished, weathertight installation.

Frees the Window
A through-the-wall unit leaves the window available for light, view, and egress, which matters in a bedroom where code requires an operable window. It also removes the seasonal install-and-remove routine a window unit requires.

Better Sealed, Quieter, More Secure
Because the unit sits in a framed sleeve rather than a window sash, a through-the-wall installation seals better against air and water infiltration, transmits less outside noise, and does not compromise window security.

Sleeve and Framed Opening Required
Installation requires cutting a framed opening in an exterior wall and installing a sleeve — carpentry work, not an appliance delivery. Existing sleeves from a prior unit may not accept a new one, so confirm sleeve compatibility before ordering.

Sizing to the Room
Because the installation is permanent, getting capacity right matters more here than with a window unit you could swap. Match capacity to square footage, ceiling height, sun exposure, and insulation.

Electrical, Drainage, and Installation Planning
Higher-capacity units require dedicated circuits and specific outlet configurations. The wall penetration must be flashed and sealed properly to avoid water intrusion. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about sizing, sleeve compatibility, and electrical, and plan on a contractor for the opening.
