Miele Panel Ready Dishwashers at Plesser's Appliances
Miele panel ready dishwashers, available at Plesser's Appliances, accept a custom door panel fabricated to match your cabinetry, so the dishwasher disappears into the millwork entirely. In a kitchen designed around continuous cabinetry, this is the only configuration that fully delivers on it.
A Dishwasher That Reads as Cabinetry
Your millworker fabricates a door panel in the same material and finish as the surrounding cabinetry, and the dishwasher takes it. With controls hidden on the door edge, nothing about the front identifies it as an appliance. For a design-led kitchen, this is the difference between a finished run and a run with a stainless gap in it.
Panel Specification Comes First
Panels must be built to Miele's specification for dimension, thickness, and weight, with the handle typically supplied by the cabinetmaker as part of the panel. This is the most common source of trouble on a panel-ready job: panels fabricated before the specification is in hand either do not fit or exceed what the door springs are rated to carry.
Door Weight and Spring Adjustment
A custom panel changes the door's weight, and spring tension has to be adjusted at installation to match. Too heavy and the door drops; too light and it will not stay closed. This is an installation step, not a field improvisation, so confirm your installer handles it and knows the panel weight in advance.
Performance Is Unchanged
Panel-ready units carry the same wash engineering as their stainless counterparts, including AutoDos, the 3D MultiFlex cutlery tray, AutoOpen drying, and the same decibel rating. The panel affects only the exterior. Confirm the program list and features for your model.
Opening, Utilities, and Installation Planning
Installation requires a standard undercounter opening, water supply, drain connection, and a dedicated circuit, plus the finished panel ready at install. Get the panel specification to your millworker before cabinetry is fabricated.
