Miele Washers

Miele Washers at Plesser's Appliances

Miele washers, available at Plesser's Appliances, are front-load machines built to the brand's twenty-year testing standard, with the honeycomb drum and program range that made the brand's laundry reputation.

The Honeycomb Drum
Miele's honeycomb drum surface allows a thin film of water to form between fabric and drum, so garments glide rather than abrade during the wash. That is the engineering behind the brand's reputation for fabric care, and it matters most on items you intend to keep — wool, silk, and anything expensive.

TwinDos Automatic Detergent
TwinDos dispenses two-phase liquid detergent automatically in the correct amount at the correct point in the cycle, which removes the most common cause of poor results and fabric damage: over-dosing. It also means you refill cartridges occasionally rather than measuring every load. Confirm whether your model includes it and the ongoing cartridge cost.

Program Range and CapDosing
Programs cover everything from heavily soiled work clothes to wool, silk, outerwear, and down, with CapDosing single-use capsules for specialty treatments like fabric conditioner or waterproofing. The program range is wider than almost anything else in the category and genuinely used rather than padded. Confirm the list for your model.

Capacity and Spin Performance
Miele washers run smaller drum capacities than most American front loaders, which is a real consideration for large households. High extraction spin speeds remove more water, so loads spend less time in the dryer. Confirm capacity against your typical load size before deciding.

Utilities and Installation Planning
Installation requires water supply, drain, appropriate electrical, and a level floor able to carry the machine. Front loaders need the door left ajar between loads to prevent odor. Most Miele washers stack with a matching dryer using a model-specific kit. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about capacity, stacking, electrical, and delivery path before ordering.
