An insert delivers the capture area, filtration, lighting, and controls of a Wolf hood without dictating the exterior. The surround is built to your design — a plastered chimney, a paneled wood canopy, a metal hood fabricated to match cabinetry hardware. Enclosure Dimensions Come First
The insert determines the interior dimensions the enclosure must accommodate, including depth for the unit and access for filter service. This is the most common source of trouble on an insert job: the surround gets built, then the insert does not fit or the filters cannot be reached. Get the insert specification into your millworker's or mason's hands before the surround is fabricated.

Sizing Capacity to the Cooking Surface
