While I thought I left feedback before, I was asked to do so and because I love my cooktop, I am gladly doing it again! In 2017 bought this induction cooktop in 2017 after the top of my previous one got cracked while I was away. Six years and no problems or cracks (2 prior electric ones lasted me about 4 years each before someone damaged them). It was a bit more expensive but worth it. To me temperature control is much better with induction, the surface doesn't get as hot - the pan gets hotter and more evenly heated and the low settings are perfect!. Because the surface doesn't get hot food doesn't burn on the surface and I am yet to need to use a scraper on it to clean (previously a daily routine) And the autoshut-off and timer features are very useful. I originally thought they would be more useful to me as I age for "senior moments" as I aged or got grandchildren but my son was the first to embrace and uses it all the time! I can't say enough about this cooktop - I remain very happy with my purchase!

I can't believe I have had this cooktop for 7 years - time flies! I am a happy user for all 7 years and would buy it again. If you haven't used induction, it is worth it. You are better able to control the temp than standard electric cooktops and the surface while it gets warm is nothing like that of the standard electric....which means if something drips on it - it is so easy to clean off without special cleaners and effort! I have had no problems with the cooktop since the day it was plugged in and the surface looks like new!

Pros: neat styling with smooth glass top which is easy to clearn and controls are quite intuitive. Heats ferrous metal pots and pans quickly. Cons: Only ferrous metal pots and pans will work, thus one may have to discard their aluminium equivalents. Plus a bit of learning curve to find the right temperature setting, a minor annoyance.
