Bosch NITP068UC Features
The cooktop that makes space for more.
FlexInduction(R) lets you combine two cooking zones into one for larger cookware. This allows you to accommodate pots and pans up to 9 inches wide and 15 inches long. Induction cooking directly heats your pots and pans instead of the cooktop itself for faster, more efficient cooking. So you have a cooktop that delivers precise results with effortless ease.
Speed up dinner for more moments to savor.
Sometimes you don't want to wait for a pot of water to boil. The SpeedBoost(R) function on Bosch induction cooktops adds even more power to speed up the cooking process.

We've had traditional electric (coil), gas, and radiant electric stovetops, but this inductive unit beats them all by a mile! It heats water faster than gas. It turns off instantly, leaving the cooktop relatively cool compared to other technologies. It has excellent temp control. And it creates no toxic gasses or particulates, as does gas. It looks great, and cleaning is a snap -- just wipe it off as if it is just a part of your counter!

We have the same model in both our primary and secondary residents and love them. Easy to control cooking temp.

Have not had unit very long, but am very pleased so far. Performs very well and is reasonably easy to use. The one exception is that the instructions for the flex unit are a bit obtuse. As with any glass stovetop, cleaning is something of an issue. I find large center unit very useful. Installation into existing space was quite easy.
Cooks much like a gas unit, with near instant temperature changes. Capable of very high heat. There is a bit of a learning curve coming from an LED unit, but it is entirely positive.
Reliability will be the real test. My previous experience with electronically controlled LED and induction units has not been positive.
