We purchased the Bosch Gas Rangetop as a part of our kitchen remodeling. We really wanted to have a gas cooktop and remodeling added the gas line into our kitchen. We had to shop a lot to buy a real good gas cooktop. We were told that Gas cooktop is different than Gas Rangetop. I wanted the controls in front, rather thank the top; a lot of the gas cooktop has the controls on the top. We were not able to see the actual model at any store, so had to rely on the pictures in the Bosch site. Also, there were not many reviews. As a result, we LOVE THIS MODEL! The controls look a little small on the picture, however, it's a great size to handle. Each burner has different power and it's nothing to compare to any stove top that I ever had. Beautiful, powerful, easy to use/clean, safe feature embedded. All of our guests love this rangetop and it's just GREAT.

I Bought this cooktop for my new kitchen in Oct. 2020. I did not want 5 burners because I've had that settup before and in a 30" cooktop there isnt enough room for it So I like 4 effecient burners. And these certainly are. This cooktop is incredibly powerful. I find myself turning down the gas to almost bare minimum. The Optisim is the perfect burner.-Super controllable. The dual front burner is also really useful and on the lowest settings, especially so. On high, this front burner will heat up the largest pot in no time. I had a GE Profile before this and there is absolutely no comparison. This is so much more powerful, flexible and eeasy to clean. I like the fact that the grates can go into the dishwahser too. Usually the question is asked if I would recommend or repurchase this product and the answer is Yes I would do both.

The ignition system on our new rangetop is spotty at best. In order to light any of the burners, especially the largest one, you have to turn the knob and let it snap 10 to 20 times. My last rangetop lit in a couple of snaps. Also the large burner with its multiple burners doesn't funciton well. When we adjust it to the the smaller burner setting and adjust it to a low setting, after a while the burner will just go off. Not great.
