When the DW in my house died over 10 years ago I replaced it with a Bosch because my parents got a Bosch in their house over 30 years ago and it's ran without problems and also runs quietly. I don't regret spending a bit more for a Bosch because it's so insanely trouble free, has a durable stainless steel interior, and it's so incredibly and insanely quiet that in order to determine if it's running; you have to look at the panel lights or practically put your ear up to the front of it to hear it working! It's so economical on water and detergent use as well. The fact it also has a Sterilize feature completely sells it to my wife who used to work in the healthcare industry. The one and only one minor quibble we have is it doesn't completely dry our plastic ware, requiring the use of a kitchen towel or a stint on the drain board.

After going through several dishwashers in our 47 years of marriage, our Bosch is our favorite! My husband loves it because its quiet unlike all the other ones we've had. We bought it Jan 20, 2012 and have never had one problem. It cleans our dishes so well, love that the utensils aways come out really clean. I always tell anyone looking to purchase a dishwasher, buy a Bosch!

I've had the dishwasher for several year already. We did have to pull it out once to blow out the house because it was not draining properly. Easy fix. I also had to replace the filter once which was an easy fix. This dishwasher has been run at least once a day if not twice in this household of 5, was 6! Pots, pans, and the kitchen sink all fits inside the dishwasher! When this one kicks the bucket, I will be replacing it with another Bosch!
