I don't think anyone relishes an uplanned expense. Anyone that has been a home owner for more than a little bit has had that glorious time when an appliance goes on the fritz, and the only choice that makes sense is to replace it.
This happened to my old Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher, when it decided it needed a repair that was more expensing than it was worth.
I did my homework, asking friends, appliance repair professionals and utilizing my Consumer Reports subscription, it was clear that my next dishwasher would be a Bosch.
I made my purchase, had it installed and haaven't been the least bit disappointed with the unit. In fact, this cleans and dry's so well, I wonder what magic tricks the more expensive models have up their sleeves.
Do yourself a favor, just get a Bosch.

The best dishwasher I have owned. It is quiet and does a good job cleaning dishes. Also the way the racks are organized, you are able to do a lot of dishes
