Moves refrigeration noise, hum, vibration and heat outside and away from living space. Certified and engineered to operate in extreme high or sub zero temperatures and can be up to 250ft+ away from the pantry. All refrigerator pantries come with one (1) rPOD™ and Dual-temp comes with two (2).

Smart Sleeve™

The Smart Sleeve™ allows the entrance door & optional reach-in door(s) to be popped out and flush with your exterior wall or cabinet faces. Available custom-depth of sleeve will depend on thickness of wall finish and depth of adjacent finished cabinet.

The First Steps to a Qoldfusion Walk-In at Plesser's Appliances

1. Preliminary Drawings
Qoldfusion creates zero obligation (preliminary) drawings of your custom walk-in (based on architecturals of the space & customization preferences- see questions below).
2. Cost Estimation
Once drawings are dialed in and approved, we send them over to our estimating department for costs. Pricing varies on size, customization & property location.
3. Approval and Planning
Once costs are signed off & approved, we schedule a FaceTime with the contractor/builder to see where the walk-in will be located along with the remote rPod systems (2 for dual-temp).
4. Site Preparation
We then schedule a date/time to make our first visit to run the line sets. This needs to happen after framing is complete and before walls are closed up. Usually around the same time you have HVAC come in. During this trip we will verify the walk-in dimensions and sign off on production.
5. Installation and Start-Up
Our next trip out will be to install the walk-in (takes around 5-6 days), start-up the walk-in and do a demo for the client/owner.

Lead Time

Our lead time is 16-18 weeks from verified dimensions to installation.

Customization Preferences

Do you want “All Refrigerator” or “Dual-Temp” (walk-in cold pantry with reach-in freezer column) or “all freezer”?
Do you want the pantry entrance to have concealed fully articulating hinges for a seamless integrated look, or commercial surface mounting hinging?
Do you want the entrance door to be panel ready or brushed stainless-steel finish?
Do you want the entrance door to be solid or have a viewing window?
Will the rPod be installed outdoors or in a well-ventilated room? If outside will the rPod be on a concrete slab or wall hung?
How many feet away will the remote rPod systems be (one for refrigerator & one for freezer)?
Where is property located (need full address)?
When do you anticipate installation?
