I installed this downdraft hood myself, so got to see the construction details. Seems a good quality build. We like the variable speed blower controls. The description of the model we purchased clearly states "In-line blower sold separately". There is another model that does include a blower, so be sure you are purchasing the model you need. Our home already had an installed blower and duct-work from a previous installation. The Broan model we purchased worked perfectly with the existing blower.

Replaced another brand. Fit in the same opening, had to do a little venting work but went well.

I don't have an exit from the kitchen to the exterior, how can I deal with the fumes?
