I purchased both the beveled and flat front models of these cabinets for new bathrooms. They are very attractive and functional but, sadly, do not stand up to continued use. You have to touch the edge of the cabinet with your fingertips in order to open it, yet doing so repeatedly causes the mirror finish to rub off. With continued use, the edge deterioration becomes very unsightly. When reported, the company said this is not a known problem and the product warranty is limited to one year. They attributed the edge deterioration to use of chemicals, though none were used. Unless this problem is fixed, users who wish to maintain the cabinet's appearance would be well-advised to leave it shut, paint the edges with some kind of durable clear coating (as the manufacturer should have done), or don white cotton gloves each time it needs to be opened.
