SuperSucker, new model, warranty replacement for an older Broan with broken fan wheels. Ours was one of the first of this model off of the production line. Exact fit for the old unit's mounting brackets made the installation easy. A bit loud in the high speed setting but moves air better than anything outside of a commercial kitchen. :-) Broan customer service excels! GPG - TBSS.

Both fans casings cracked at high speed a few days after installation. The Fans were replaced under warranty but had to be ordered which took a few days. The cause we were told was because mounting screws for the fans had been over tightened to much at the factory and cracked the plastic. Things seem to be working fine now. The first two speeds are quiet but the highest speed is very noisy, but we tend to use the highest speed only for things like bacon. The unit looks nice and we continue to be happy with it after several months of use. Insulation required some modification of mounting screw locations and took a bit of effort. I mounted it at 23 inches above the stove after including an additional spacing box under the overhead cabinet. 18 inches would probably be better for exhaust but the draw is still not bad. The filters are only a little bit tricky to remove and put back. Lighting over the stove is good even on the first setting. I'm comfortable in recommending this product despite the initial issues which is why I rate it at 4 stars. The price seems fair.
