Does a great job of clearing the air and providing light.

I love my Broan range hood. It is sleek looking and I especially like the low profile fan and light buttons.

This unit replaced a 30-some year-old non-functioning, filthy dirty and rusted vent hood, so it didn't have to be very good to be better. Haven't used the fan much since its installation in January: I don't fry a lot, and cooking steam boosts humidity in our cold, dry house, but it will be a needed improvement in warmer, more humid summer months. The fan is much quieter than the old one (even when that was new) and the light is a drastic improvement over the appliance bulb in the old one. It was worth the reasonable price for the better light alone and the other features are a lagniappe!
