Average Cooling but Noisey

Have a Danby dehumidifier that works well and is fairly quiet. Thought a Danby air conditioner would be as quiet but that's not the case. Cools fast but the noise level is irritating. It will be replaced next summer.

Danby air Conditioner

It was great for awhile, then it started holding water, throwing water out of the top onto my windows, now it drips & has condensation underneath it so I have to constantly keep a towel handy. We had to take all of the insulation out from around it since it keeps wetting everything. The water was supposed to evaporate but doesn't and no way to empty it and I live upstairs. Customer Service isn't any help, when registering this product it was for 14 months and they didn't even have it in their system so they registered it for last years model code. So what good was that. I purchased it in good faith and will run it till it blows up just to get my monies worth out of it. I liked the promised features, evaporation vs dripping, I should have gone with the LG. Which I have been seeing used all over in the big stores... Suggestion, anyone purchasing please reconsider and buy something that has drain holes, I didn't as I live in an apartment and couldn't have the dripping, what I have is a mess that does blow cold but water water water every where inside and outside... I did try to include a picture but didn't know how upload it. Will happily fwd a picture to anyone who can upload it. I want my A/C replaced with one that works as promise so Replace mine and Install it, that would make me a bit happier + a 14 month warrantee that works.

Cools fine, but noise is a problem!

The price was fine and it was easy to install. Unfortunately it puts out a lot of noise. Overall I'd have to say we were disappointed.
