Replaced 3 yr old Frigidaire 12,000 BTU with a tube type fan, could not push air into the room. Plus, it sounded like a 747 in full throttle take off. Installation was simple, plunged in and we both said "that's more like it". the fan is powerful, yet not loud. The "dry" mode was new to us, takes out the humidity and cools at the same time. First day, A+
