Replaced Bosch 5 burner gas cooktop when renovating about 3 yrs ago. Love the FP low profile, modern clean lines & great heating options. Only negatives - cooktop doesn't have an indicator light to denote when on/off. A couple of missteps. Lack of this feature was not noted in specs when we purchased & appliance dealer had little info experience with the line. Secondly & most disappointing is that the cooktop scratches easily. Take care when your contractor installs, tiles & cooking. Heartbreaking to see scratches - especially when you want to encourage other family members to cook. Guidance on products to rub out scratches would be helpful.

This product scratches if you just look at it. Also the rubber that surrounds the knobs have ALL come unglued and even their logo is fading off from simple cleaning. Having to glue back on the rubber around the knobs has ruined my cooktop. I only use a grease cleaner (Fantastic) and stainless steel cleaner rubbing in one direction. I pick up the pots never drag - that's what they tried to tell me was causing the scratching and that is not it. It just scratches very, very easily. Lastly, the burners run so hot you can only cook on low.
