Great range!!!

It is a dream cooking with this range. I'm constantly amazed at how easy it is to control burner flame/oven temp, and I agree with the hype about the "simmer" setting--it really is a low, slow temperature. Oven temps are right on target. One observation--there is no sort of click/detent to confirm that I've set the oven to 350 (vs. 360 or 345); that would be such a helpful bit of feedback. Another observation--it isn't easy to read the settings on the range's control knobs--the pale grey font on the stainless knobs isn't always easy to see. As I am not a professional chef, I have used the settings on the knobs as my starting point for the cooktop; for the cooktop, I look at the flame a bit later to decide whether more or less flame is needed, and for the oven I double check my setting for temperature with an oven thermometer. The red backlights on the knobs are great to let me know what is "on" and a huge help for ensuring I've closed down the kitchen, not left the burners or the oven turned on. Oven size, sliding shelves, size of the window into the oven are great. And the range parts are easy to keep clean!
