Before getting this freezer, I had an old Kenmore chest freezer that was 20+ years old. I don't know for sure because it was given to me. This freezer is so much better. I love that it is on casters. The delivery men weren't going to put them on at first, but I had already read the specs and knew they came with it. It is so easy to move when needed. They also allow you to sweep underneath the freezer. The compressor is quiet while running but you can hear it when it shuts off. It has so much more space than my old one. I also like the fact that it has a basket and inner shelf to separate things a little. I am thrilled with the product and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this freezer just about three months ago. I did so for a number of reasons. One, it was a commercial use freezer. In my experience they tend to be a little bit of a better grade of product. Two, I love the fact that it is on wheels, which makes it very easy to move around when needed. This will also makes it easy to clean the freezer or the area around it. Three, the compressor is very quite, we can not hear it when it is running. It keeps the food at a steady temp of about -10 degrees. The only thing that I have to say that bugs me, is that there is no type of light to show that the unit is getting power. There is a light on the hood that shows when the compressor is on but no light (small green light) to show that the unit is getting power. I would recommend this to other consumers.
