Ibought this about 3 months ago. Works great, easy to clean and serves my purpose.

I bought and installed this new cooktop a month ago after 3 weeks of research! My mother in law had a 35 year old cooktop that only had 1 remaining burner that still worked. It was no longer repairable so I thought to buy her a new one. She has a center island in her kitchen that was made for a 36 inch wide, 30 amp cooktop. Doing my research i quickly found out that the new 36 inch wide cooktops are all 40 to 50 amps. Her 30 amp electric line is buried in her homes concrete slab floor, so if i had to put in a new electric line, it was going to cost her thousands of dollars to run a new line! Then i came across your 36 inch wide 30 amp cooktop, and it fit my mother in laws kitchen island perfectly! Seems Fridgidaire is the only company in the country I could find that is still making a 36 inch wide 30 amp cooktop! Thanks to Fridgidaire my mother in law iss now cooking on all 4 burners!

This fit the "hole" in my kitchen cabinet. I like the arrangement of eyes and controls.
