Had to replace an old O'Keefe & Merritt cooktop. This one was perfect. Helped modernize the kitchen at a reasonable price.

My old O'Keefe & Merritt finally bit the dust, and being vintage, it was impossible to find parts and get repairs. Imagine my DELIGHT when I found this Frigidaire cooktop with not only a very familiar and similar layout, but a perfect drop in fit (no cutting necessary)! It is an amazing cooktop, and the entire family fell in love at first site. Now that we've used it, we like it even MORE. GREAT design, easy to clean, and as others have stated, the fast boil and simmer burners are a wonderful addition. Best of all are the sealed grates. Nothing can get in there, so clean up is fantastic. An no pilot lights to worry about! I won't remove a star for it, but like another reviewer, I do wish there was just a bit more space between the burners. It's not a deal-breaker tho. Also, it is a bit of an adjustment to have grates that are a LOT taller than my old O'Keefe & Merritt grates. Again, certainly not a negative - just more of an observation. I'm very pleased, to say the least!
