Love it so far!

Powerful AC and well worth it. Haven't had any problems and it cools wonderfully

Perfect for a small room

After more than a decade of trouble-free service, the through-the-wall AC/heater unit in my study stopped heating (AC continued, but living in upstate NY, the supplemental heat is essential). We replaced it with the Frigidaire FFTH0822U1. Installation was a breeze and it fully exceeds our expectations. This is a wonderful unit.

disappointing

I replaced a 12 year old air conditioner/heater from a competitor and was excited for modern features like a remote and digital controls. Those features are great, but the problem I've run into with this (and another Frigidaire model I tried) is that the core features just don't work very well. The temperature in the room never quite gets down to the selected value (ex: temperature hovers at 70 when I have it set to 67), and worse, it does an extremely poor job of dehumidifying the room. I've tried different fan settings and running times, and I'm lucky to get below 60% humidity. In summary, I thought this would be a nice upgrade and it's actually been a pretty significant downgrade.
