I'm amazed by the negative comments on this freezer. We actually bought this unit used as part of an estate sale, but couldn't be happier. It is quiet, very efficient, and keeps our frozen goods at 0 degrees. The only reason I am visiting this site is to get information on why it won't run on a solar backup system inverter. Apparently, I'm the first person to try that, because there is no information...
