This side-hinged oven is great! As a wheelchair user, it is often difficult to reach across the open door of a bottom-hinged oven - especially when lifting out hot, heavy dishes. The side-hinge feature allows me to roll my wheelchair up close to the oven and easily lift out dishes.

Had a Frigidaire Gallery swing door oven for 18 years; replaced with new stainless model which is wonderful. Only concern is the manual directions are very inaccurate - too many misplaced "Starts". Check Delay start directions for most extreme wrong steps!

The new oven replaces an earlier model. While I love and use all the cooking features, I love that the door opens to the side like a microwave. I have a large family and cook large cuts of meat and heavy casseroles. This door enables the loading and unloading of heavy dishes much safer than other wall ovens. I don't have to lift heavy things over a hot door obstructing me from reaching in. Please keep this feature always!!
