We purchased this refrigerator this spring and couldn't be more pleased. I was hesitant to purchase a side-by-side because I didn't think there would be enough room in the freezer, but I was wrong! I'm surprised at how much we can stuff in there (we have a family of five). The feature that really sold us on this fridge was the water filtration system and the ice in the door. The water is delicious and perfectly clear every time. I thought we'd be going through filters left and right since the whole family drinks oodles of water, but we've still got a green light on the filter (another wonderful feature). The only con I can say about this fridge is that the plastic "film" that is covering the push-buttons on the water dispenser on the front of the fridge, seem to have bubbled-up. Aside from that cosmetic flaw, the fridge is a great buy. Our power was out for a full day recently, and the fridge retained it's cold amazingly. EVERYTHING stayed frozen on the freezer side and cold on the fridge side. We knew to leave it close during the outage, but I was surprised at just how cold it stayed. Well done, Frigidaire!

I bought this 9/2010 and have nothing but trouble with the freezer, since I have owned it. The ice maker never works properly and had a repair man here 4 times for the freezer, needing a new fan motor, it freezes up and leaks water all over my floor, the refrigerator has had no problems just the freezer and ice maker. Resorted to stop using the ice maker.
