We bougt this for our bedroom based on the fact it is supposed to be a quiet running unit. I am happy to say that it still cools perfectly fine and is just as quiet as the day we put it in. I want to purchase another one for one of the other bedrooms in the house if I can find a store that has one. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants a super quiet unit for any room.
