Frigidaire FGRQ06L3T16,000 BTU Quiet Room Air Conditioner: White

This unit is so quiet I sometimes think it isn't running. Very happy with it,

I bought this last year and used it all summer in a bedroom where we sleep within 6 ft of it. This is the quietest airconditioner I've ever seen. The specs are 41 dB on low, which is so quiet that I have to walk across the room to check if it is running! When it is on high, the specs are 47 dB, which is still 10dB or so below most other air conditioners. This AC is PERFECT! I'm a picky engineer type who doesn't wan't to waste time and money. If I'm happy, anyone would be happy! I've used it for A YEAR! Only minor improvement I would suggest is that the LEDs are a bit too bright. I sleep with my eyes closed so no big deal, but it lights up the room more than is necessary. If the LEDs came on when you press a button on the remote this would be more convenient for a bedroom.

Purchased a couple of months ago. Replaced a unit that was 90db loud. The difference in sound levels is amzing, and is understandaly a vast improvement. Unit works well. A happy customer.
