My landlord did the least expensive repairs possible for the central A/C unit and it wouldn't cool my house more than 74 degrees. We purchased 3 other window units including a 1,000 Square feet window unit and I still couldn't get the temperature below 72 degrees, then I purchased this GE window unit and within an hour our 2,500 sq ft house was cooled to 68 degrees. This unit worked so well that we stopped using the other 3 window units. This is the best window unit I've ever used or seen! Great unit and I highly recommend this window A/C!!
