Happy Hey!
I am very pleased to have this GE product in my home. It has provided excellent air conditioning, from the very moment it was installed. The control features are perfect, and easily operated with the remote control. Only issue was I first set the temperature to low. Woke up in a deep freezer. Had to turn the temperature back up a few degrees. Now I am completely comfortable, and do not even need to think about the temperature here. Internal switch options are perfect. Able to run fan constantly if needed. So far not needed. The cycling of the unit keeps everything perfect, and saves a lot of wasted energy. I can not be more pleased, and will highly recommend this GE product. I thank every GE employee who had a hand in building, packing, and shipping this GE product. Thank you, and God Bless.

It has been several weeks since I got the ac. The odor when it was first installed was very strong. It has been dissipating since then. It is installed inside a kitchen cabinet near the ceiling. It is a tight fit. This makes it difficult to remove the cover and to remove the filter. It can be done but it is difficult. This is not the fault of GE but the space I have for installation. Also, the machine keeps going on and off when it reaches the desired temperature. This is quite annoying. I think I may be able to set it up for the fan to go continuously but I may still get a lot of noise when the compressed quicks on and off. Otherwise, it is fine. I have several of these in the house and have had no trouble with them.
