this is the unit that is the typical standard for my building, and it's a good unit. Must make sure to somehow insulate when it's fitted in as winter allows soooo much air in (which is not the unit's issue, just how it sits in the opening)

easy to install, cools room adequately. like the thermostat features that turns unit on and off to make the condo comfortable..... downside.. a little louder than i like but good enough and really not that bad once I got use to it..... I was use to central air and just had to get use a wall unit. Have bought two of these units to cool a 700 square foot condo..one in bedroom and other in living room.

My new GE air conditioner works much better than I might have thought. Keeps the room very cool and is relatively quiet.
