This model replaced a 16 year old GE unit installed in our sunroom when the sunroom was originally built. It has shown a significant improvement in operation over the past several months from the original unit. Primarily, it is quieter, and more accurate in maintaining a constant room temperature. The digital controls help, I'm sure.
