I bought this range because I wanted an oven that would bake, broil, roast and stew, and could clean itself when I was done, and this oven does all that! The temperature is perfectly adjusted for cakes, pies, breads, pulled pork - whatever I want to make and it all comes out perfectly. The controls are right in front (as I have no small children, that's a plus for me) so I'm not reaching across hot burners to make adjustments, and the oven door window and inside light make it beautifully easy to watch as your creation comes to fruition. It has no clock or timer, but I didn't need them as I have a kitchen timer and clock. As to stovetop, the burners are very quick heating and adjust quickly if you need to lower temps. I can get 4 quarts of water to a full boil in 6-10 minutes. I am really glad I decided on this appliance -- it meets all my needs!

This stove does exactly what is asked...simply, with no fuss. The self-cleaning oven works very well. I love my new stove! Now if I could just keep the stove top as clean as the oven!
