Many home cooked meals in the oven and on top.

I purchased a new home that came with this range all ready installed. I was thinking that I was going to be disappointed b/c I was used to cooking with gas. Well, after learning to cook with electric, I don't remember or miss the gas stove/oven. My daughter and I baked over 1200 Christmas cookies and 300 mini banana nut muffins, plus over 4 double batches of Chex-Mix for family and friends this past Christmas. I did not have ONE problem with this range. I really do love it. The only reason that I was looking at the GE site was to see if there was an affordable DOUBLE oven for my future. I would love to have that feature for my baking needs. Without that feature, my baking time is somewhat longer, but it has nothing to do with the product. Also, after looking at the new Double-Oven ranges from GE, I see that they added another size burner within the large burner. That's a great feature. I wish mine had that. I cook an average of 3/4 times a week. I use the stove constantly. Yes it does get pretty difficult to keep clean, but a little tip for cleaning the stove top....I use fumeless Easy-Off cleaner. Let stand a few minutes and wipe with wet rag. WOW! Looks brand new. Note: I have rarely used the Bridge Burner, but when I need one, I'll have one.
