I have this GE Free-Standing Electric Range and it cooks evenly on every coil and the oven cooks evenly every time! I have to say, that even when I make a mess, it is easily cleaned. I wanted an energy efficient appliance that I could cook small and large meals on and have a bottom drawer for storage. And that is what I have! Every time I cook a 3 layer cake, I can place all 3 pans in the oven and do not have to turn them during the cooking process, because of the even heat distribution that it has. I bake a lot and that is what has made me LOVE this stove! I also like the fact, that the seals on the oven doors are so great, that as long as I do not open the oven doors often, my house does not heat up like other stoves I have had in the past. I also love the fact that every coil burner cooks evenly as well, no hot spots like other brands have done in the past. I will always own a GE range now and in the future. The quality of even their lowest cost ranges are wonderful! The large knobs on the back are easy to read and easy to clean. You can adjust the heat with the knobs on each burner on the same # and get the same heat on each burner, which is rare! Other brands have not performed as well as this GE has for me. I highly recommend this range for anyone on a budget but wants superior quality!

Purchased six months ago. I have had three major problems (door seal failed, oven temperature failure, and one burner stays on).
