Have had this product for a year now, and it is still working great. Too bad it is no longer manufactured.

The heat output is marginal even on the largest burner. If you want to boil water, start way ahead of time. The stainless is very difficult to clean without scratching. If you wipe it just once against the "grain" of the stainless steel and you will leave a scar on the surface. Every cleaning must be performed with the grain and in long strokes. This is far to delicate for a kitchen appliance. The igniters keep clicking even after the burners are turned off. It has nothing to do with the position of the knobs (as stated in the "troubleshooting guide"). The igniters will click and spark on their own. GE has not offered any reason or remedy. The only solution is to unplug the cooktop.
