Got this as a hand-me-down and have used it for 14 years. (Produced in 2006...?) Overall pretty satisfied with the performance and it's actually pretty easy to clean. HINT: use Lysol wipes and a microfiber to dry. For big crusty stuff use a straight razor! Alas, mine may be nearing its end. Finally fried something by tripping the circuit when all 4 burners were going on the same circuit as the wall oven -- would not recommend. Big burner died. The 1-minute power-off reset did return cooktop power but big eye will only work on low settings before tripping the circuit.

Have been very unhappy with trying to clean this cooktop is not easy at all.Had a cooktop before i purchased this one and no problem but this one has been AWFUL.....
