I bought this range used, not new, and I love everything about it except that--although it seems brand-new in every other way--the little diagrams/instructions on the front panel for each burner had completely faded away! I love that the front right burner has three sizes: a small burner in the middle, a ring around that one to create a medium burner, and another outside ring to make a large burner, and each size can be set to low, medium, or high--it's perfect! But I had to look up the manual and find a picture to learn where to turn the knob to for each burner and each setting--and print out the picture and tape it onto the front of my stove! If you get this range, be careful not to scrub off the little knob instructions on the front panel.

Upon seeing this range is no longer manufactured I wonder if others are disapointed as well. To begin with, I had trouble baking many things with the bottom oven, everthing would be done on the outside but not the middle, I chalked it up to me just getting used to it.After 6 months of agonizing with this I talked to my dealer, they sent a man to calibrate the oven. Low and behold it is 24 degrees off. No wonder I have not been doing well, can you imagine the difference that would make. Perhaps all ovens should be calibrated to make sure, but then who would think a new oven would be so wrong. To say the least I am so very disapointed in GE, what could be done to make this right? And that others would not suffer the same fate.
