It is understandable this product is no longer being manufactured. My original purchase date was Dec2006. We only got 6yr-1mo, service out of the fridge, and seemed like daily, the unit would over-heat. We would lose most of the food, and freezer items. The ice machine gave out first, and many times, the ice machine, seems like it was melting, 'cause we would have water leaking every where from the freezer section. The fridge section sucks for room, or no room actually. The shelves are too small, too short. The fridge was a bad mistake on GE part, and they new it, but still sold this unit, or did nothing to recall this unit.
