Smart Design, Good Functionality

We bought this fridge in 2012 as part of a complete GE Cafe appliances package. The exterior is beautiful and the interior design is very smart. If you know where your food is located, you can open just one door and access most anything, saving energy. I don't have any problem with the noise level or doors being difficult to close. We're remodeling our kitchen in a few months and I've selected a Sub-Zero 42" french door, which is in a different realm in terms of price, seal, and air freshness... but in checking out the interior design of the Sub-Zero I realized it wasn't going to be quite as functional as this GE - both doors need to be open to access items in the produce bins and deli drawer. My only issue has been the ice maker - still making ice when the bin is full, the auto shut-off seems defective - so anytime I pull out the over-full ice bin, 2-3 cubes drop to the floor.
